    Description

    The New York State Bridge Authority is soliciting bids for the "Deck Replacement" project at the Bear Mountain Bridge in Fort Montgomery, New York. The scope of work involves deck removal and replacement, new concrete barrier at the curb line, bridge sidewalk removal and widening and furnishing and installation of deterrent fencing. The project shall include all stages of the work-zone traffic control, furnishing and installation of all materials, access, installation and removal of approved "scaffolding/shielding" system and isolated lead abatement at location(s) shown on the contract drawings. Bid documents are only available electronically. All inquiries for digital plans and specifications shall be made by emailing Teresa Ceragioli, Assistant to the Chief Engineer, at tceragioli@nysba.ny.gov with your "Expression of Interest" and shall include your complete company contact information. Prospective bidders will then receive an email response with a hyperlink to download the bid package. All prospective bidders shall submit their "NYS Public Works - Contractor Certificate" with their bid along with a bid deposit of 5% bid bond or $3,500,00.00 certified or cashier's check to validate their bid. The apparent low bidder shall present evidence of experience and finanacial stability and shall also comply with the terms of the Notice to Bidders, including Equal Employment Opportunity, M/WBE and SDVOB goals.
