Wiseburn Unified School District of Los Angeles County (WUSD) will receive electronic bids from contractors holding a type “B” license, on the following: Bid #2026-01 – ADA Upgrades as part of the Door Access Controls Improvements Projects at Hollyglen Elementary School DSA #03-125047 per bid specifications. This scope of work is estimated to be between $165,000 to $195,000 and includes the following: Site and accessibility improvements consisting of the installation of new chain-link and ornamental gates with associated fence infill; modification of existing gates to accommodate new OFOI access control hardware and accessibility improvements; installation of windscreen at designated gates; installation of a cane rail at an existing drinking fountain; adjustment and relocation of restroom accessories to improve accessibility compliance; and relocation of an existing storage shed and portable restroom. The work also includes adjustment of door closer pressure and speed at existing doors and gates listed in bid documents. All work shall be performed in accordance with the contract documents and applicable codes and standards and other associated improvements per bid documents.

Job Walk location: Hollyglen Elementary School located at 5309 W 135th St, Hawthorne, CA 90250 – All Attending Contractors MUST meet the District representatives at the campus main entrance, DO NOT disrupt the school staff in the front office. Bidders will be escorted onto the campus from that location.
