This work starts at the Middle Oconee Water Reclamation plant and ends in the vicinity of the Macon Highway Bridge over the Middle Oconee. Some of this work shall be new trench work located parallel to the existing facilities, most shall be same trench replacement. There is one approximately 160 linear foot (LF) jack and bore under Macon Highway. All interconnections to the truck line shall be replaced a minimum 50 linear feet (LF) up stream from the trunk line with 12-inch Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) or larger and a manhole installed.
Along with this, work shall include erosion control and landscaping, several creek crossings, groundwater dewatering, as well as repair or replacement of items such as pavement, sidewalk, fences, and curbs. This work shall require large scale bypass pumping for the duration of the project.
