    Work is proposed at various locations along the southern Maple Street Corridor within the City of Springfield and shall include, but is not limited to, pavement micro-milling; placement of Superpave surface course and intermediate courses, Installation of granite curbing for curb extensions, concrete sidewalks, driveways and pedestrian curve ramps. Install and adjust drainage systems, traffic signal improvements, markings, pull boxes and landscaping. Pre Bid Conference: For a bid to be deemed valid, Contractors must be prequalified by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation in the specific class of work of Highway Construction with a single contract limit at or above the dollar value of the project.
