Bid Form and electronic copy of Bid Security for the Cherry Street Alley Paving Project will be received online via the PennBid Program until 1:00 p.m. prevailing time on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Proposals will be publicly opened on PennBid at 3:00 p.m. the same day.Final questions are due no later than 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.The project consists of approximately 1,450 square yards of street reconstruction, including milling/removing existing pavement and subbase materials, grading roadway, placing stone subbase, base course and wearing course, installing erosion and sediment control facilities and completing miscellaneous improvements on Cherry Street alley for the Borough of Fountain Hill.All Bid Documents and details are available at no cost online at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com.Each proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the required form, certified check, bank cashier’s check, or other security acceptable to the Owner in the amount of 10% of the total Base Bid. Bids will be effective for 60 calendar days from the Bid opening date except as permitted by law and may not be withdrawn during this period. The Contractor shall comply with the provisions of the Act of August 15, 1961 (P.L. 9 87), as amended, known as the “Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act” and the Regulations issued pursuant thereto by the Department of Labor and Industry. The Contractor shall include these requirements in all subcontracts for the project.
