    Description

Aurora Water owns and operates multiple water and wastewater pipelines that are suspended from, attached to, encased within, or structurally integrated into bridge structures. These assets present elevated risk due to limited accessibility, aging or degraded insulation systems, corrosion and galvanic interaction at supports, and the absence of consistent cathodic protection monitoring. The intent of this contract is to develop design-ready documentation that allows Aurora Water to proceed directly into final design and construction. The primary objective is to produce Project Cut Sheets and supporting technical documentation that define a clear, constructible remedy for each crossing and establish the design basis so that no additional assessment phase is required. This scope provides a structured starting point for the work, ensuring that essential planning elements are addressed while allowing the Consultant flexibility to propose innovative methods, tools, or perspectives that strengthen the outcome. Aurora Water expects that all tasks described herein will be addressed by the proposed Project approach, with value‐added or creative approaches welcomed where they advance the effectiveness and durability of the project inten Aurora Water owns and operates multiple water and wastewater pipelines that are suspended from, attached to, encased within, or structurally integrated into bridge structures.
