    New Orleans Regional Transit Authority seeks quotes from qualified vendors to repair a leak on bus lift. Quotes shall include the cost of service, labor, and all materials, supplies, and equipment required to fulfill the requested service. Please include estimated length of time for removal (including travel time if applicable), length of time for installation, ETA for project completion, and total downtime. Scope of Work: Status - The cylinder is leaking from the rod gland. Services Travel to site Lock out / Tag out lift Verify locks in place on racks Remove cylinder from under rack Disconnect and cap hoses and plug cylinder ports, remove rod to cable apparatus, unbolt and remove cylinder Bring to shop for repair. Repair of cylinder This quote is for disassemble, clean, inspect, light hone, reseal, assemble and test. Once cylinder repair is complete, the cylinder will be brought back to the facility and installed. Position cylinder under rack and bolt into place, reconnect hoses, reconnect cable apparatus to cylinder rod, check cables for correct routing. Test system by cycling the unit several times and observe operation and looking for leaks. After disassembly and inspection, if any additional damage is found (e.g., rod damage, heavy scarring in the barrel, piston damage, etc.), additional necessary work shall be quoted before finishing the job.
