Description

The Caernarvon Township Board of Supervisors will accept Proposals for the Caernarvon Township 2026 Maintenance Project until 10:00 am, prevailing time, April 30, 2026. Bids will be submitted, and all project information will be available at no cost via PennBid, https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/.The Work includes approximately 23,500 square yards of single oil and chip on Swamp Road. The Work must be completed not more than seventy-five (75) calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed, which is anticipated to be June 9, 2026.Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Proposal Security equaling ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal. Proposals shall be effective for forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of opening. Bidders are required to be PennDOT prequalified. Prevailing wages are not required by this contract.The OWNER reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals or portions thereof. Certain portions of the project may be modified or eliminated as a result of budget limitations.
