    Caln Township, Chester County will receive sealed bids for this project electronically via PennBid™ until 10:00 A.M. local time, July 2, 2026, at which time all bids will be opened online.This project will involve the installation and construction of a stormsewer system with an inlet, endwall, and associated piping. It will also include guiderail installation with slope stabilization. Please note the awarded bidder is responsible for a fee to PennBid™.Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or a certified check in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. No bid may be withdrawn for the period of days stated in the bid form from the date the bids are opened. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount and a Maintenance Bond in the amount equal to fifteen percent (15%) of the contract amount, thereafter, required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents and Waiver of Lien.The right is reserved to waive any informality in the Bid, to reject any or all Bids, and to accept any Bid which is deemed most favorable to the Owner, at the time and under the circumstances stipulated.The work in this contract shall be paid for in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act No. 442)
