    Iowa State University of Science and Technology (ISU) is soliciting information from qualified contractors to furnish and install a hoop structure to be utilized by ISU's Campus Services Department. Contractors should read all materials carefully and note the due date. Contractors must submit all questions in the "Questions" tab related to this bid opportunity. --- Q&A --- Q1: The bid form is requesting a bid bond amount, however I cannot located the amount required in the bid documents. Can you please clarify the bond requirements? A1: ISU is not requesting pricing for a Bid Bond, we are asking for the price of a Performance and Payment Bond. If your price for this project is under $25,000, the P&P Bond will not be required. Can you confirm that we are able to submit a bid using a 16' truss spacing with one 8' bay to accomplish the desired overall length? A2: You should be able to bid using 16ft truss spacing with one 8ft bay to achieve the required overall building length. The foundation and footing layout would then be revised to accommodate the truss spacing.
