    Description

    The Office of Mental Health announces the availability of up to $20 million in capital funds statewide for the development of Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Programs (CPEPs). $3 million is also available in startup funds for new CPEPs across New York State The purpose of the RFP is to solicit proposals from qualified health care organizations to provide high-quality, equitable and accessible emergency psychiatric services. The Office of Mental Health is seeking to expand the availability of CPEP services to ensure that individuals with mental health needs can access CPEP care. Based on local need, these capital funds are intended to expand CPEP services and increase a hospital’s ability to serve children, adolescents and adults. No hard copy or electronic (email) submissions will be accepted. Instructions for this can be found in Section 2.9 of the RFP. All not-for-profit applicants must be Prequalified by the due date and time for this RFP. Business enterprises awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: St Barnabas Hospital, NYU Langone Hospitals, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, Montefiore Medical Center, Faxton St. Luke's Healthcare, Maaimonides Medical Center, Flushing Hospital Medical Center, Olean General Hospital, Arnot Ogden Medical Center Minority / Women Business Enterprise contracting goals (MWBE) MBE Goal: 16.00% WBE Goal: 14.00%
