Purpose. The purpose of this solicitation is to establish a contract for the Council on Asian Pacific Minnesotans (CAPM) for the 2026 Leadership Awards Dinner. Limitations on geographic location: Within the 7-County Twin Cities Metro Area (Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Ramsey, Scott, or Washington County.) adn excludes downtown Minneapolis and down St. Paul. Parking Limitations. Parking facilities must be provided free of charge and consist of a surface parking lot (parking ramps are not permitted). The parking lot must be either physically connected to the venue building or located within 100 feet of the venue entrance and must be clearly visible from the entrance. Contract Term. The Contract Term will be from the date of contract execution through December 31, 2026. Alcoholic Beverage Consumption. The Contractor must maintain a current Minnesota Liquor License as required by Minnesota Law. The Contractor is responsible for compliance with all security requirements and required by law to follow all applicable state laws and city ordinances for security requirements for hosting events that are selling or serving intoxicating beverages; including, but not limited to, providing necessary security personnel and having the required insurance. The sale and service of alcoholic beverages is regulated by the Minnesota State Liquor Commission. As a licensee, the Contractor is responsible for the administration of these regulations and as duly licensed by the State. Consumption of alcoholic beverages is restricted to persons of legal age as determined by the State and the Contractor reserves the right to challenge the age or identification of any individual. Cancellation Policy. State on the Price Schedule in dollar amounts any charges that could be applied if the event is cancelled for any reason other than for insufficient funding per Exhibit A, Paragraph 3.3. If no charge is indicated on the Price Schedules, the State will not pay any cancellation fee. The cancellation fee includes all cost associated with meeting rooms, catering, audio visual equipment, and all other expenses that may be incurred by the Contractor under the Contract Terms. If the event is cancelled, the State reserves the right to reschedule a new event date upon mutually agreement with the Contractor. Submitting Questions.
