Catasauqua Borough, Lehigh County - 2026 Liquid Fuels Roadway Improvements Project

Catasauqua Borough will receive sealed bids electronically via the PennBid Program for the 2026 Liquid Fuels Roadway Improvements project at various locations throughout the Borough. The project includes, but is not limited to, full-depth milling, base repairs, full depth restoration, curbing, ADA ramps, and other roadway items. Sealed bids will be received until 9:00 AM (prevailing time) on Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Bid results will be made available on PennBid after bid opening.Copies of the Specifications/Bid Forms are available at no cost on PennBid (https://PennBid.bonfirehub.com). Questions and inquiries should be addressed through PennBid’s “Ask A Question” button found on the Project Details page.Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to Catasauqua Borough in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of PennDOT Pub. 408. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in an amount equal to the Contract Price and meeting PennDOT Pub. 408 Section 103.04 requirements. Bidders must be PennDOT Prequalified per PennDOT Pub. 408 Section 102The Project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and compliance with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Public Works Employee Verification Act.The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids/proposals if, in their judgement, is not in the best interests of the Township. No Bid will be accepted if obtained from sources other than the issuing office noted above and if not submitted through the PennBid system.
