Finally, the existing portion of the runway will be repaved. The runway 33 glide slope will be relocated. The new runway 33 localizer has already been installed by FAA Technical Operations and only needs to be switched on. Runway 15 is currently served only by a localizer, which will remain in operation as it will be beyond the future Runway Safety Area. Funding This project is federally funded through FAA BABA This project is subject to BABA requirements. Type This project is deemed a horizontal construction project. Pre-Bid Meeting A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 19, 2026 at the Carson City Airport Office located at 2600 East College Parkway, Carson City Airport, NV 89706. This will be the only opportunity to visit the project site. All bidders submitting as prime Contractors are highly encouraged to attend. Sealed Bid Sealed proposals will be received by the Carson City Airport Authority (Owner) at the Carson City Airport Office located at 2600 East College Parkway, Carson City Airport, NV 89706. All sealed proposals must be received and time recorded prior to 2:00 PM, Local Time on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. Sealed Bid Proposals received will be publicly opened and read at 2:01 PM (or as soon as possible thereafter) on the same date and location listed above. Late bids will not be accepted and will be considered disqualified.
