  The Experience Modification Rate (EMR) is a numerical factor used by insurance companies to measure a construction company’s workers’ compensation claims history compared to other companies in the same industry.

  • Baseline: An EMR of 1.0 is considered average.

  • Lower than 1.0: Better-than-average safety record → lower insurance premiums.

  • Higher than 1.0: Worse-than-average safety record → higher insurance premiums.

  Provide references from the last five similar construction projects for which your company provided This project includes the cleaning and CCTV inspection of approximately 6402 Linear feet of 6-inch, 29149 Linear feet of 8-inch, 4983 linear feet of 10-inch, 1977 linear feet of 12-inch, 2907 linear feet of 15-inch, and 80 linear feet of 18-inch sanitary sewer lines, approximately 150 existing manholes and 10 clean outs as well as Point repairs when approved by the City. Provide all labor, supervisions, tools, equipment and materials per drawings and specifications to complete the required work. Provide all necessary equipment, connections and special items necessary to accomplish the work shown or specific even if such items are not specifically specified or shown on the drawing. Install all items provided in accordance with the specifications, the manufacturer recommendations and the best practices of the trades involved. Assume full responsibility for the means, methods, techniques, sequences, and procedures of the construction to complete the project. Implement all safety measures and precautions per governing regulations, incidentals to the related work. Provide, connect, test, and supervise the installation of the equipment specified under the supervision of qualified personnel.
