    NOTICE TO BIDDERS CENTRAL DELAWARE COUNTY AUTHORITYSealed proposals will be received until 10:00 A.M February 26, 2026 by the Authority Engineer, online via the PennBid Program at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com, for the Little Crum Creek Interceptor Improvements MH 17-15, along Chester Pike in Ridley Park Borough and read aloud at 5:00 P.M. on March 3, 2026 at the CDCA Committee meeting. Major Quantities include: 80 LF of 54” diameter HDPE sewer pipe, 1 EA 96” diameter concrete manhole, 1 EA 8 ft. square concrete vault, 60 LF CIPP box culvert and a by-pass pumping system. All Bid Documents, Construction Plans and Specifications are available online via the PennBid Program at www.PennBid.Bonfirehub.com at no cost to prospective bidders. The successful bidder, who is awarded the contract, will be required to pay PennBid Program a fee of 1/3 of 1% of the contract award value. There is a minimum award fee of $150.00 and a maximum of $6,000.00. Bidders must confirm the fees associated with bidding through PennBid and the successful bidder is responsible for the fees associated with the awarded bid.Each bidder must submit with his bid, security in the form of a certified check or bid bond in the amount of not less than 10% of the total bid made payable to the order of the Central Delaware County Authority.Attention of Bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in the bid package, particularly to the PA Prevailing Wage Rates, various insurance requirements, and the requirements for a payment bond and performance bond for 100% of the contract price and a one-year maintenance bond for 10% of the contract price. All Contractors and Subcontractors of any tier that perform work under this contract must comply with the Authority’s Policy for Responsible Contractors. Each bidder must submit a Contractor Responsibility Certification, and if applicable, a Subcontractor list and Subcontractor Responsibility Certification with the bid. Failure to submit the documents may result in bid being rejected.
