    Description

    The San Luis Obispo County Flood Control and Water Conservation District (District) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide professional engineering services for development of the Chorro Valley Drought Contingency Plan (DCP). The project will evaluate regional water supply reliability, drought vulnerabilities, and drought mitigation and response strategies for the Chorro Valley. The project will be completed in two phases. Phase I includes project initiation, development of a Detailed Work Plan to guide Phase II activities, stakeholder coordination, and facilitation of a Drought Planning Task Force. Phase II includes preparation of the DCP in coordination with the District, the Drought Planning Task Force, participating stakeholders, and the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation. The project is funded in part through the Bureau of Reclamation's WaterSMART Drought Contingency Planning Program.
