City of Dunkirk Sidewalk Replacement Project (PY25 CDBG): ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed bids will be received in the City Clerk’s Office located at 342 Central Avenue, Dunkirk NY 14048 starting at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, May 15th, 2026, until 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 8th, 2026, for the City of Dunkirk Sidewalk Replacement Project involving sidewalk excavation and construction as part of the City’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. Beginning on May 15th, 2026, forms and specifications for the work may be obtained at the City of Dunkirk Planning & Development Office, 342 Central Avenue, Dunkirk, New York 14048. Documents will also be available online on the City’s Website RFP Page at https://www.cityofdunkirk.com/businesses/rfp_s/index.php and listed on NYS Contract Reporter at https://www.nyscr.ny.gov/. Each bid must be accompanied by security in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of opening thereof. This contract is subject to the higher of the New York Department of Labor and Federal Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wage Rate determinations. Contractors will be required to adhere to NYS DOL prevailing wage schedules in paying wages to employees. The prevailing wage schedules in effect at the time of the contract execution shall control. Contractors must be registered with NYS DOL Contractor Registry List prior to bidding. NYS Certified payroll must now be submitted online, as well as copies of those forms to the City of Dunkirk. The City of Dunkirk is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
