    Description

    The City of Medford Parks, Recreation, & Facilities Department is seeking a contractor to install a new boiler system in Building A at the City Service Center. The contractor shall furnish and install all required equipment for complete and operable hydronic heating systems. Further details can be found in the Scope of Work (section 4.2 of this RFP). The contractor shall furnish and install all required equipment, in addition to also providing all labor, supervision, permits, testing, and startup necessary to provide a complete and operational hydronic heating and domestic hot water system for Building A at the Service Center. Hot water boiler, pump, air separator, and water heater schedules can be found in Exhibit B. The building currently has one boiler. The intent is to provide a measure of redundancy (not 100% back-up) in the event of equipment failure or service downtime. This project is subject to BOLI prevailing wage rates. Also, performance and payment bonds will be required for this project. Costing shall include this added expense. Proposals must be received by 3:00 PM local time on July 3, 2026.
