    Contractor shall furnish labor, materials, equipment, services, and specialized skills to perform work involved in the Project. The Work in the Bid is defined in the Project Drawings and Specifications and will generally include the following:The project consists of the construction and installation of the following assignments:Assignment: Ten (10) street tree planters and tree plantings along the Bandini Boulevard and 37th Street corridor, in accordance with Case # 1 on Plan No. D2791; Citywide Street Tree Planting Project (attached).One Hundred and Forty (140) trees on the existing sidewalk along Bandini Boulevard and the 37th Street corridor, in accordance with Case # 3 on Plan No. D2791; Citywide Street Tree Planting Project (attached).Tree Type-Bandini Blvd: Ornamental Evergreen Pear (cultivar variety)-37th St: Ornamental Evergreen Pear (cultivar variety)The Contractor will be responsible for the maintenance and watering of all trees until the City has fully accepted the project in accordance with the Contract.The work shall be done in accordance with Contract No. 20260208 - Plan No. D2791; Citywide Street Tree Planting Project. Notes: One original sealed bid must be signed and submitted prior to 2:00 p.m., March 24, 2026 to the City Clerk’s Office, City of Vernon, 4305 Santa Fe Avenue, Vernon, CA 90058, (“Bid Deadline”). All bids shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes, distinctly marked “Bid” with the title of the bid and the bidder’s name and address appearing on the outside.
