BID SECURITY Bids must be submitted on the forms furnished by the Township Clerk or the Township Engineers in a sealed envelope marked: BID FOR PRINCE DREWRY SOUTH DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS A certified check, bank draft, or satisfactory bid bond, executed by the bidder and a surety company, payable to Clinton Township, in an amount at least equal to five percent (5%) of the bid amount, shall be submitted with each bid. BONDS AND INSURANCE The accepted bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond, and Labor and Material Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond of 100% for two years of the Final Contract Price. The cost of the bonds and insurance will be paid by the accepted bidder as an incidental cost to the project. WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after receipt of bids. AWARD OF CONTRACT Each bidder agrees to waive any claim it has or may have against the Owner and their respective Employees, arising out of or in connection with the administration, evaluation, or recommendation of any bid.
