    Description

    Commonwealth University of the PA State System of Higher Education, Bloomsburg Campus invites General, HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical, Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work consists of multiple award open-end contracts for General Construction, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting, Roofing, Concrete, Masonry, Sitework, Asphalt and Concrete Paving and Boiler Specialty for labor and equipment rates for various miscellaneous construction, renovation, repair, and maintenance of facilities and buildings. The University may award a contract to multiple firms with the lowest base bids. This Contract is an indefinite quantity contract against which Individual Work Orders shall be issued. These are small construction / maintenance repair and/or replacement of equipment, emergency work and renovations to space that are unplanned projects that are under 100K per work order. No known quantity or amount is known until the need arises for the service. This is not a scheduled maintenance contract on equipment. Due to emergency work, Bidders must be located in a 1 hour drive / 50 mile radius within the University, refer to Section 01 11 01 Special Provisions 1.2 Contractor Qualifications Statement for bidding eligibility.A mandatory Pre-bid conference, with site visit to follow, will be held on April 21, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Commonwealth University in the Great Room of the Alumni house on the campus of Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg Pa.. Pre-Bid Conference is mandatory.Electronic Bids are due no later than 1:00 PM, EDT on May 13, 2026, through PennBid located at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/The Bid package is available at no cost via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/. In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register with PennBid. Registration is a free process that takes only a few minutes. Once registered, bidders may obtain all solicitation documents, receive notification of solicitation updates, and submit and update their confidential bids onlineQuestions regarding this project shall be submitted via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid. Responses to questions which require changes to the Bidding Documents will be posted on PennBid.
