Compressed Air Dryer Replacement for Instrument Air System

GRU is upgrading the instrument air system at the Deerhaven Renewables facility. During the fall outage, two new oil‑free air compressors will be installed, providing a combined capacity of approximately 1,800 scfm at 125 psi. The existing air dryer will need to be replaced to handle the increased capacity of these larger compressors.

Background

The Fall outage dates are 10/17 - 11/30/2026. The new air receiver and air dryer need to be delivered by 10/17/2026.

In order to reuse the existing electrical service, a heatless dryer that can operate with 115V/single phase/60 Hz is preferred.

  The State of Florida incorporates the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) excavation safety standards, 29 C.F.R.  1926.650 Subpart P, as its standard (Sections 553.60-64, F.S.).
