    Description

    Background The City and County of San Francisco, Office of the Controller (hereinafter “CON” or “City”) released a Request for Qualifications (hereinafter “RFQ” or “Solicitation”), Sourcing Event, 0000011606, https://sfcitypartner.sfgov.org/nlx3/. ; CON, on behalf of all City Departments, is seeking qualified suppliers (“Proposers”) to provide proposals (“Proposal”) for expertise in Salesforce software configuration, customization, and platform management to support and enhance the Citywide Nonprofit Monitoring and Capacity Building Program (“Monitoring Program”). This program coordinates fiscal and compliance monitoring for approximately 230 nonprofit contractors funded across 15 City departments. To facilitate this work, the Controller’s Office implemented a Salesforce-based system that manages documentation workflows, monitoring schedules, reporting, communication, and data integrity. The City shall evaluate Proposals to create a Prequalified Pool of Proposers (“Prequalified Pool”). Proposers prequalified under this RFQ are not guaranteed a contract. The City may use the Prequalified Pool, at its sole and absolute discretion, on an as-needed basis. Anticipated Term of Resulting Contracts The anticipated contract term for contracts resulting from this RFQ may last up to four (4) years, with the option(s) to extend the contract for up to three (3) additional years for a total contract term not to exceed seven (7) years. Actual contract term may vary at the City’s sole, absolute discretion, depending upon service and project needs. Anticipated Not to Exceed Amount of Resulting Contracts The anticipated Not-To-Exceed contract amount of a Resulting Contract awarded to the Prequalified Pool shall range from $500,000 to $800,000 for the entire seven (7) year contract assuming the initial four (4) year contract and the three (3) year option to extend is exercised. Actual contract budget may vary, depending upon service and project needs at the City’s sole and absolute discretion. Indefinite Quantity, As-Needed Resulting Contract Resulting Contracts awarded to the Prequalified Pool will result in term, indefinite quantities, as-needed contracts. There is no guarantee of a minimum amount of goods or services for any Proposers selected for the Prequalified Pool or for any Resulting Contracts therefrom. Estimated quantities, if any, stated in this RFQ are approximations only. City, in its sole discretion, may purchase any greater or lesser quantity. City may also make purchases of items awarded pursuant to this RFQ from other suppliers when City determines, in its sole discretion, that it is in the best interest of the City to do so.
