    INVITATION TO BID Slippery Rock University – Slippery Rock, PA UP-2026-467 Concrete Maintenance Services UP-2026-469 Asphalt Paving & Maintenance Services Work Order Construction Contracts Slippery Rock University, of the PA State System of Higher Education invites Contractors to download bid documents for this project. Work included under this Contract will be on the campus of Slippery Rock University of PA, Slippery Rock, Butler County, PA 16057. The contractor shall furnish all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and perform all work necessary to complete each project in accordance with all state, county and local laws and regulations and to the approval of SRU and the State System of Higher Education. See Division 1 General Requirements & Technical Requirements Section 01010 Summary of Work for full scope of work. Asphalt Paving & Maintenance Services: Work to include, but not be limited to, Asphalt concrete paving and surface sealer; wearing binder and base course, crack sealing, seal coat, & pavement marking and line painting. Aggregate base course is specified in Section 02200, proof rolling of prepared subbase is included in this section, rolled asphalt curbs are included in this section specific work will be defined by the issuance of individual work orders (IWO) by the University. Concrete Maintenance Services: Work to include, but not limited to Concrete sidewalks, curbs, gutters, roads, and parking areas are included in this section specific work will be defined by the issuance of individual work orders (IWO) by the University. Work shall include, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, materials, tools and equipment and performing all work necessary to complete all Construction to the satisfaction of the University, and subject to approval of the Professional and State System of Higher Education. A Pre-bid conference will be held on April 16, 2026, at 11am, in the Maintenance Center Conference Room, 100 Building & Grounds Road, Slippery Rock PA, 16057. The pre-bid meeting is not mandatory but highly recommended. Electronic Bids are due no later than 11am, EST on May 12, 2026, through PennBid located at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. The Bid package is available at no cost via PennBid at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/ In order to submit a proposal, interested bidders need to register with PennBid. Registration is a free process that takes only a few minutes. Once registered, bidders may obtain all solicitation documents, receive notification of solicitation updates, and submit and update their confidential bids online. Questions regarding this project shall be submitted via the “Ask a Question” feature in PennBid. Responses to questions which require changes to the Bidding Documents will be posted on PennBid.
