    Description

    Dane County is seeking bids from qualified engineers to provide Construction Administration Services - CTH KP (Garfoot Creek), located in the Town of Cross Plains. This project involves the demolition and replacement of an existing highway bridge and roadway approaches.

    • Firm Capabilities (40 pts)
      1. Describe the firm’s experience and capabilities in providing similar services to those required.
      2. Identify a maximum of 3 similar projects and be specific on how these projects relate to the proposed projects.
      3. Include information on firm capacity to meet the proposed construction engineering needs for the proposed schedule
      4. Up to 2 pages max allowed in response 
    • Staff Qualifications (35 pts)
      1. Describe the educational and work experiences for each of the key staff who would be assigned to the project.
      2. Identify the Project Team Leader, Project Construction Manager, as well as other key staff.
      3. Full resumes can be attached as an appendix (unlimited pages).
      4. Up to 2 pages max allowed in response 
    • Knowledge of the Construction Process following WisDOT Inspection Methods (25 pts)
      1. Describe the firm’s knowledge of the WisDOT Construction Inspection process for structures.
      2. Proposers shall include in their RFPs up to 3 points of contact (name, address, and telephone number), which can be used as references for work performed as part of a WisDOT Bridge Construction Project.
