The City of North Tonawanda is seeking a qualified engineering firm(s) to provide construction inpection (CI) services for the Payne Park Aquatic Facility project located at the Payne Park, 848 Payne Avenue North Tonawanda, NY 14120. It is anticipated that the services to be provided may be required for up to one (1) year, commencing in the Spring of 2026. Work will be divided into 4 prime contracts: General Construction, Electrical Construction, HVAC, and Plumbing. The work includes a new outdoor swimming pool, seasonal pool house, pool slides, water features, pool accessiories, fencing, sidewalks, parking lot, utilities, sitework, and landscaping. The request for proposals (RFP) shall be available electronically via email upon request to: Chelsea L. Spahr, P.E. City of North Tonawanda Engineer cspahr@northtonawanda.gov Proposals shall be delivered NO LATER than Friday, May 8th 2026 at 4:00 PM (EST) via email to: Chelsea L. Spahr, P.E. City Engineer cspahr@northtonawanda.gov Requests for clarifications shall be submitted in writing by Friday, May 1, 2026 at 12:00 PM (EST), and shall be emailed directly to: Chelsea L. Spahr, cspahr@northtonawanda.gov. Formal written responses will be distributed on or before Tuesday, May 5th, 2026, via email. All proposals must be received on time and in full compliance with the instructions provided in the RFP. The City of North Tonawanda reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to withdraw solicitation at any time. MWBE firms are encouraged to apply.
