    Description

    The Owner is Village of Odessa, and the work site is located in the Village of Odessa. The projects limits extend from 150 feet west to 150 feet east of the bridge over Deckertown Creek. The work includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction necessary and incidental to the completion of the work shown on the plans and described in these specifications including, but not necessarily limited to the following: removal of the existing superstructure and substructure, placement of a new 70-foot long by 31-foot 4-inch wide steel girder structure on the existing horizontal and improved vertical roadway alignment, new cast-in-place conventional abutments on spread footings founded on rock, new stone fill bank protection, approach work, and guiderail installation. The proposed work will be performed while traffic is maintained via an offsite detour. This is a BridgeNY Project and NYSDOT Standard Specifications, officially finalized and adopted on September 1, 2025 as posted on the New York State Department of Transportation’s website must be followed by the successful bidder.
