Subject: Critical Power and Associated Control Systems Parts and Service

Clay County Utility Authority intends to award a procurement as a Sole Source Procurement in accordance with its Procurement Policy 7.7, and State of Florida Statute 287.057 (3) (c).  Any responses received in reference to this Notice of Intent to Sole Source shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether a competitive procurement.  Responses will not be considered as proposals, bids, or quotes.

Background

CCUA intends to negotiate and award a sole-source procurement for Critical Power and Associated Control Systems Parts and Services to Russelectric, A Siemens Business. Russelectric is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of Russelectric critical power systems, including, but not limited to, paralleling switchgear, automatic transfer switches (ATS), and associated control systems. As the OEM, Russelectric is the only authorized provider of factory-certified service, engineering support, OEM replacement parts, software and control system updates, lifecycle maintenance, preventative maintenance, repair services, technical support, engineering modifications, and field testing for its equipment. Because Russelectric is the exclusive source for these products and services, no other vendor is authorized to provide OEM-certified parts, technical support, engineering services, or lifecycle maintenance for Russelectric-manufactured equipment.
