    IN ADDDITION TO THE SUB TRADES, THE PRIME MUST ALSO CONSIDER ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR TRADE! The work under this Contract includes general construction services required for architectural, structural, electrical, and roofing improvements, as well as remodeling and repairs. These activities are based on the findings and recommendations outlined in the original 40-Year Recertification Report for the Cruise Terminal C Building. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Maintenance of cast-in-place concrete. 2. Masonry concrete cleaning. 3. Metal fabrications. 4. Rough carpentry. 5. Joint sealants. 6. Non-structural framing. 7. Metal stud framing, gypsum board finishes and interior painting. 8. Exterior painting. 9. Maintenance repainting. 10. Perform concrete surface repairs throughout multiple areas within the terminal. Damages have been identified on overhead concrete surfaces and at the joints of double tee beams. Scope includes: a. Patching and resurfacing deteriorated concrete areas. b. Sealing and reinforcing damaged double tee joints. c. Ensuring structural integrity and aesthetic consistency across all repaired surfaces. d. Conducting inspections before and after repairs to verify quality and safety compliance. 11. Thermal and moisture protection. 12. The roof repair/replacement scope of work includes roof membrane repairs for entire Cruise Terminal C. 13. Roof waterproof penetrations and flashings. 14. Install new roofing cap sheet in all identified roof deck areas, following manufacturer specifications and construction documents. 15. Existing non-functional skylight to be watertight following the protocol repair. 16. There are existing roof decks that require roof membrane replacement. 17. Electrical systems: Replacing disconnects and associated conduits. 18. Replacing miscellaneous Unistrut assemblies for disconnects. 19. Replacing miscellaneous receptacles. 20. Installing new exterior lighting. New illumination Southside of Terminal. 21. Repairs to existing lighting protection system. NOTE: This Contract/Project is funded in part by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) Grant No. G3352 (Financial Project No 433363-1-94-07) Public Transportation Grant Agreement (PTGA) for PortMiami. It is the policy of the Department that Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE’s), as defined in 49 C.R.R. Part 26, as amended, shall have the opportunity to participate in the performance of contracts financed in whole or in part with Department funds under the Agreement. The DBE requirements of applicable federal and state laws and regulations apply to this Agreement. The Agency and its contractors agree to ensure that DBE’s have the opportunity to participate in the performance of this Agreement. In this regard, all recipients and contractors shall take all necessary and reasonable steps in accordance with applicable federal and state laws and regulations to ensure that the DBEs have the opportunity to complete for and perform contracts. The Agency and its contractors and subcontractors shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national original or sex in the award and performance of the contracts, entered pursuant to this Agreement.
