    Description

    DEMA Fire Department is seeking a qualified healthcare provider to deliver a Comprehensive Cancer Screening Program for its firefighting personnel. The intent of this program is to enable early detection of cancers commonly associated with firefighting occupations, and to ensure prompt medical follow-up and intervention as needed. This program shall align with current best practices in firefighter occupational health and comply with all applicable medical and privacy regulations. All services shall be provided at the contractor’s medical facility or facilities. What is the State Soliciting? The Arizona Department Emergency & Military Affairs (the State), as authorized under A.R.S. § 41-2501 et seq. is seeking to establish one or more Contracts to provide comprehensive cancer screenings to the DEMA Fire Departments at the following locations: Camp Navajo Fire Department 1 Hughes Blvd Bldg. K2009 Bellmont, Arizona 86015 162nd Wing Fire Station 1400 E Super Sabre Bldg. 50 Tucson, AZ 85706 Silverbell Army Heliport 24641 E. Pinal Airpark Rd. Bldg. L4320 Marana, AZ 85653 The State anticipates awarding contract(s) with the intent to secure service coverage to the DEMA Fire Department. Whether or not it actually enters into any contracts, how many contracts it enters into, and how the work is awarded between those contracts are at the discretion of the State. Furthermore, the State will use any awarded contracts on an as-needed basis, with no guarantee as to its actual spending under them. The State reserves the right to accept any item or combination of items specified in the Solicitation, unless the Offeror expressly restricts an item or combination of items in its Offer, and conditions its response on receiving all items for which it provided a proposal. In the event of such restriction, the State will evaluate if an award on such a basis will result in the best value and is in the best interest for the State. The State may otherwise determine, at its sole discretion, that such restriction is non-responsive and deem the Offeror ineligible for further evaluation.
