It is the NYS Department of Corrections & Community Supervision, Division of Industries (Corcraft) intention with this proposal is to acquire a series of formulations using super concentrates, or a group of chemicals which, when properly combined with water following specific formulations, will produce: · a finished institutional dishwashing detergent · an institutional dishwashing rinse aid (specially formulated to work on plastic ware normally found in the NYS DOCS system) · a descaling product · a hand wash pot and pan cleaner · a food service grade cleaner degreaser FINISHED PRODUCTS: The finished products will be manufactured at Washington Correctional Facility, Division of Industries, Soap Shop in Comstock, New York 12821. The formulations being offered must be produced utilizing existing equipment present in the Soap Shop at the time of bid opening. The prospective vendor may be required to perform an on-site visit to confirm that the existing production equipment can achieve the end result. The finished products must be formulated as required to work in an institutional food service operation. All finished products will be concentrated, must be liquid, and shall be designed to be diluted automatically by appropriate dispensing equipment.
