    DOYLESTOWN TOWNSHIP - 2026 ROAD PROGRAMAll documents and solicitation details are available and open to public inspection anytime at PennBid https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com. The bidder who is awarded the contract will be required to pay a fee to PennBid. The names of those who have secured plans/specifications may be obtained at PennBid.Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids. A performance bond or certified check in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.This project involves milling and excavating, base repair, and placement of wearing and base courses on multiple Township roads.This project is subject to prevailing wage rates in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Liquidated damages apply at the rate of $1,000.00 per calendar day.Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids.
