E-Rate Category 2 – Network Equipment, Wireless Access Points, and Software Licensing

The Putnam County School District (PCSD) seeks qualified vendors to provide E-Rate Category 2 eligible network equipment, wireless access points, related accessories, and right-to-use licensing to support and enhance the District’s network infrastructure. This project will establish a competitively awarded contract, enabling the District to procure standardized, compatible networking solutions as needed through June 30, 2027, in accordance with FCC and USAC E-Rate program requirements.

This effort aims to strengthen wired and wireless connectivity across existing school sites and new construction, ensuring reliable, scalable, and secure network performance to meet current and future instructional and operational needs. The District uses Cisco Meraki–based solutions, and proposed equipment must be fully compatible with the current environment or meet requirements for approved functional equivalents.

PCSD seeks to partner with experienced, authorized vendors who can deliver high-quality equipment, compliant E-Rate pricing, and reliable supply chain support. The District encourages proposals from vendors with proven K–12 experience, competitive pricing, strong manufacturer relationships, and a clear understanding of E-Rate compliance to help ensure long-term value and network sustainability.
