Electric Vehicle Charging at Civic Arts Plaza (CI 5708)

The City of Thousand Oaks is soliciting bids for the construction of EV chargers (EVSE) and associated infrastructure at the Civic Arts Plaza (CAP). The work includes installing the electrical distribution and associated electrical infrastructure needed to support Level 2 fleet EV chargers, including required equipment, conduits/cabling, equipment supports, and site appurtenances, all in accordance with City-approved plans.

Background

To enable the advancement of the City's fleet electrification transition, additional EV Chargers are needed to meet current and upcoming charging needs across the City facilities. This project will result in an additional 13 chargers at the Civic Arts Plaza parking lot to be used for fleet vehicles.

  Bidders are fully responsible for ensuring their bid security is received by the City Clerk Department prior to the bid opening. Failure to provide the required bid security, prior to the bid opening, shall cause the bid to be deemed incomplete and therefore non-responsive.
