The Managed Charging Services will be awarded as a 5-year agreement (with option to renew for five additional 1-year terms) “EVSE MCS agreement.” See sample EVSE MCS agreement article 3 for exact term length. The EVSE MCS agreement has several optional services such as maintenance and repair. LCFS brokerage is an optional third service which a vendor may offer but is not required for this solicitation.The City has already selected a design firm, NV5, to design the project and create permit/construction bid drawings. The winner of this RFP will be expected to work closely with the City and NV5 to deliver a seamless successful project. The City will be selecting a construction contractor through a Request for Bid (RFB) process once permit drawings are completed and approved. The Hardware/Managed Charging Services vendor/s will also be expected to coordinate with the Construction Contractor regarding EVSE installation and commissioning to provide a seamless project.Note: Bidders for this Hardware/Managed Charging Services RFP may choose to submit proposals for the Construction RFB as well, however, will not be required to do so.
