    General work description: The work in general consists of replacing existing drainage culverts crossing Marysville Road, Iowa Hill Road, and Woodruff Lane in Yuba County.

    Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified cashier’s check, or bid bond, in the amount of 10 percent of the total bid price, payable to Yuba County Department of Public Works, as a guarantee that the bidder, if its bid is accepted, will promptly execute the Agreement.  The bidder shall guarantee the total bid price for a period of 60 days from the date of the bid opening.

    The County reserves the right after opening the bids to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in a bid or bid submittal, and to award to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, as it may best serve the interests of the County.

    • In-Person Bid Opening

      Bids will be received at the Office of the County Clerk, Suite 107, 915 8th Street, Marysville, California 95901, until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 12, 2026, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.  The envelope enclosing the bid submittal shall be clearly marked "Bid For..." followed by the title of this project and the date and hour for opening of bids. Bids shall not be accepted after said date and time.

    • Successful Bidder - Contract Execution

      The contract shall be executed by the successful bidder and shall be returned, together with the Payment Bond, Performance Bond and Certificate(s) of Insurance to the County so that it is received within 8 working days after the bidder has received the contract for execution. Failure to do so shall be just cause for forfeiture of the proposal guaranty.
