      The Gary Sanitary District (GSD) is soliciting quotations from qualified electrical contractors for the installation of a new electrical feeder and transformer system to support EV charging infrastructure.

      The project consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, conduit, fittings, terminations, supports, trenching (if required), testing, and commissioning necessary to install approximately 2,500 linear feet of feeder wiring from an existing 480V three-phase source to a new transformer and distribution panel.

      Scope of Work

      Contractor shall provide all labor and installation services required to:

      1. Install approximately 2,500 feet of feeder conductors.
      2. Pull and terminate:
        • (3) #3 AWG Copper Conductors
        • Equipment Grounding Conductor as required by NEC
      3. Install all conduit, fittings, supports, pull boxes, junction boxes, and miscellaneous materials required for a complete installation.
      4. Install and terminate owner-provided transformer.
      5. Install and terminate owner-provided electrical distribution panel.
      6. Perform all required labeling, identification, and testing.
      7. Coordinate shutdowns and tie-ins with GSD personnel.
      8. Provide startup and commissioning documentation.
