Bids will be publicly opened and read between 3:05-4:30pm for three projects: Faithway Baptist Church Rain Garden (3:05pm), Recreation Park Rain Garden (3:30pm), and Candy Cane Park Prairie (4pm). The Project consists of installing two rain gardens on the property of Faithway Baptist Church. Work will include building concrete and asphalt features, check dams, altering and building catch basins, creating a sediment forebay, grading and planting. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is the OWNER, Washtenaw County Water Resources Commissioner, located in the Western County Service Center, 705 N. Zeeb Road, P.O. Box 8645, Ann Arbor, MI 48107-8645. Bids shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes plainly marked with the project name and the name of the bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids. The Contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder giving adequate security for the performance of the work and meeting all conditions represented in the Instructions to Bidders. If no satisfactory bids are received, we reserve the right to reject any and all bids and to adjourn to a time and location as we shall announce.
