    Description

    Project Description: The City of Roseville is now accepting bid proposals for the FD-50 Park Project from pre-qualified Prime Contractors. The scope of work for the base bid includes, but is not limited to, grading and utilities, furnishing and installation of a playground option A, Shade Structure with a seated picnic area, walking paths, turf area, planting and irrigation. Additive alternates includes a furnishing and installation of playground option B in lieu of option A, a half basketball court, additional turf and irrigation, sod in lieu of seeded turf, and a concrete half basketball court instead of planting and irrigation. Prime Contractors: At this time, this project is only available for bidding by Prime Contractors listed on the City of Roseville Parks, Recreation and Libraries 2026 Pre-Qualified Contractor List. Please see attached Pre-Qualified Prime Contractors memo for more information. Subcontractors: The City reserves the right to conduct a post-bid qualifications review of any subcontractors if deemed necessary. Contract Documents: A Project Manual, including all Contract Documents and the Proposal forms for bidding this project, may be obtained online from the City of Roseville’s website at www.roseville.ca.us/business/procurement_services/bids_rfps. Potential bidders are advised to obtain all documents and specifications related to this project directly from the City of Roseville / Public Purchase. The City of Roseville does not guarantee the accuracy of any forms, plans, or project manuals obtained through outside sources other than the City of Roseville. Furthermore, the City does not guarantee the distribution of any addendums or the accuracy of their content if obtained from a third party. Engineer’s Estimate: The engineer's estimate for construction of the base bid items is $580,000. Questions: The deadline for submission of questions and clarifications regarding the Contract Documents is Wednesday, April 1st, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. In order to meet the required timeline to issue addenda, questions will not be accepted after this date. Only Addenda issued by the City are binding. All questions shall be directed to the attention of Joshua Cervantes either via e-mail at JRCervantes@roseville.ca.us, or Public Purchase at https://roseville.ca.us/rfp. Pre-Bid Conference: There is NO pre-bid conference for this project. Bid Deadline: Proposals will be received at the Office of the City Clerk, 311 Vernon Street, Roseville, California, until 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. The proposals will be publicly opened and read by the City Clerk or designee of the City of Roseville in the City Clerk’s Office at 3:05 p.m. on that same day.
