Work includes repair and refinishing of approximately 14,738 linear feet (LF) of existing ornamental metal fencing at eleven (11) NCTD transit station locations. The scope of work includes surface preparation by wire brushing to remove rust and flaking paint, application of cold galvanizing coating, and application of high-performance epoxy paint finish (black color). Additionally, the work includes removal and reinstallation of all fence signage with new stainless steel, tamper-proof fasteners. At the Old Town Transit Center, approximately 254 linear feet of railing requires replacement or professional reinforcement at the bases prior to refinishing.
