    PURPOSE OF PROPOSAL: North Idaho College (NIC) is soliciting proposals from qualified design-build teams to design and construct a field house. NIC seeks a planning partner who can provide strategic leadership, technical expertise, and collaborative engagement to align physical development with institutional mission, enrollment trends, student success priorities, and fiscal realities. REQUIRED SERVICES/SCOPE OF WORK: A. Project Overview Design and construct a multi-purpose campus field house to support athletics. The facility will accommodate indoor sports, and training, while aligning with campus standards and long-term operational goals. B. Project Objectives Provide year-round indoor athletic space specifically for softball and soccer Support recreational activities Create flexible event space for campus Enhance student engagement and wellness Ensure durability, safety, and energy efficiency C. Facility Components Building Size: 60' × 120' (7,200 sq ft) | Heated Only | Standard Insulation | No Cooling | No Sprinklers LED Lighting & Controls Heating Only (unit heaters or radiant) HVLS Fans (2 large units) D.
