    Description

    The City of Avondale (the “City”) is issuing this Request For Qualifications (this “RFQ”) seeking statements of qualifications (“SOQ”) from qualified, licensed Construction Manager at Risk firms (“CMAR Firms”) interested in providing Agua Fria Pedestrian Bridge (the “Services”).

    Background

    The City’s trail system is progressing through its development in both public and private projects to create a continuous trail from north to south across the city along the Agua Fria River. A key component for the trail system’s development is a crossing across an ADOT drainage channel between the city’s Friendship Park and Interstate 10. The city is currently working with Michael Baker International on design of a pedestrian bridge at this key location. Design is currently scheduled to be completed to 60% in June 2026.
