    Description

The University at Albany Financial Aid office seeks proposals for a comprehensive, cloud-based, vendor-hosted solution that successfully provides a dynamic online Financial Aid Verification platform to support students, parents, and staff throughout the verification and related financial aid workflows and processes[PL1] . Students may be selected for verification by the U.S. Department of Education or by the University in accordance with Federal Student Aid requirements. The University is seeking a solution that enables online verification workflows, electronic forms and document submission, secure communications, and reporting to improve efficiency, compliance, and the overall student and family experience. In addition to verification, the platform is expected to support key related financial aid operations and processes such as Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP), Dependency Overrides, Appeals, and Professional Judgment. The University’s Student Information System is Oracle PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. The solution is expected to support Financial Aid Verification and related financial aid processes in compliance with all applicable Federal Student Aid (Title IV) regulations. The selected vendor will support the University’s verification workflows and student communications while operating within the University’s established federal policies and procedures.
