    Description

    A) Purpose and Description of Services Contractor shall furnish all material, tools, transportation, necessary equipment and labor to perform Fire Prevention Systems Testing and Maintenance Services located at the Porterville Developmental Center.  Inspections shall be completed on a quarterly basis.  First quarter is July, August & September.  Second quarter is October, November & December.  Third quarter is January, February & March.  Fourth quarter is April, May & June.  Also included in inspections will be semi-annual inspection of W-1 area.  Each quarterly inspection for dampers and roll doors shall include a minimum of 25%, roughly 10 buildings. See Exhibit A of the IFB for the description of required services.   The terms of this Agreement will be July 1, 2026 through June 30, 2027. B) Bidder Minimum Qualifications All bidders must meet the following requirements to be considered responsible and responsive to this IFB. 1. Bidder must possess a C-10 and a C-16 License through the State Contractor¿s License Board. 2. Bidder must be qualified in accordance with NFPA 72 and NFPA 2010. 3. Minimum of five (5) consecutive years of hospital experience. 4. Minimum of five (5) consecutive years where fire and smoke damper inspection services has been the Fire and Smoke Damper Inspection Contractor¿s primary service offering. 5. Manufacturer Training from Fire and Smoke Damper and Actuator Manufacturers. 6. Technicians must be able to pass Live Scan background check and sign security acknowledgement forms. 7. Must be able to respond within two (2) hours in the event of an emergency.
