The County of Butte (hereafter referred to as “County”) is seeking a firm/respondent (hereafter referred to as “respondent”) to support a comprehensive Fire Protection and Prevention – Community Education Expansion Project. The selected respondent will collaborate closely with the County Fire Department to advance its mission of reducing wildfire risk, protecting life and property, and strengthening community resilience. This work will operate as an integrated part of the County’s broader fire-prevention strategy, which includes defensible-space inspections, pre-fire engineering, vegetation-management initiatives, and public-education programs. Media-outreach services will enhance these efforts by expanding public awareness, improving communication across diverse communities, and promoting fire-safe behaviors. It is anticipated that the Community Education Expansion Project will have a significant impact on the majority of County residents.
