    State Project Number 75PR0002 Fire Sprinkler Pump Location – Preston Veterans Home A. The work will be done under one prime contract that includes: General, Mechanical, Demolition, and Electrical construction. B. The following summary is a general guide to the scope of work. It should not be construed as a detailed list of work included in the contract. 1. Construct a new rated fire sprinkler pump room and relocate the existing fire pump into the northwest corner of the existing mechanical room at the Preston Veterans Home (due to the City changing the incoming water pressure seasonally via the height of water in the Tower). The current existing fire pump sprinkler room is to be decommissioned once the pump is relocated and new room is operational. This solicitation includes required insurance as recommended for the project’s specifications and scope of work. It is highly encouraged potential responders review Section 00 73 16 Insurance Requirements as well as AIA A201, Article 11 of the solicitation before submitting a response. This solicitation includes qualification requirements. Attachment C of the Response Form contains the qualification requirements for the solicitation. Qualification requirements include, but are not limited to: Responding company has completed as a Prime Contractor, not as a subcontractor, the work for at least one (1) contract which have achieved Substantial Completion since June 1, 2023 for construction of fire-suppression systems. Each of these contracts MUST have had a construction value of $200,000 or greater. Project Manager and Job Superintendent responsible for this project EACH has had at least ten (10) years of experience with General Contracting construction projects similar in scope and value to this project. Responders shall attend the pre-bid meeting prior to submitting their response. The pre-bid meeting is mandatory for interested prime contractors and optional for any sub-contractors.
