    Description

Interior renovation of existing fire crew quarters, administrative offices and apparatus bays. Renovations include demolition and reconstruction of existing interior partitions, doors, interior windows, ceilings, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, interior finishes, and other related items within each portion of the building. Total renovation area is approximately 23,701 gross SF. There will be three new additions to the building with one of these additions requiring selective demolition of a portion of the existing building. A total gross area of 2,407 SF will be added for Apparatus Bay extensions, additional kitchen space and a new Tornado Storm Shelter. Limited site work will include a new entrance driveway, new visitor parking and a relocated storm water bio-swale. The Fire Department administrative offices and fire crew living quarters will remain on site and operational while the renovations and new construction are underway, so close coordination with the Fire Department is required. The project will need to be completed in phases. Refer to proposed conceptual phasing plans included in the construction document set. Contractor may suggest alternative phasing if the Fire Department approves. **Project Type**: ITB - Invitation to Bid (Formal) **Source ID**: PU.AG.USA.1082.C9442751 **Piggyback Contract**: No **Question Acceptance Deadline**: 05/07/2026 03:30 PM EDT **Questions are submitted online**: No **Bid Submission Type**: Electronic Bid Submission **Additional Bidding Instructions**: A.
