The estimated expenditure for School Year 2026-2027 of Fresh Bread Products and Delivery Services is one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000.00). The Val Verde Unified School District reserves the right to purchase more or less than the estimated expenditure.Fresh Bread items are to be delivered to twenty-two (22) school sites and one (1) Central Kitchen & Warehouse once weekly, or on an as needed basis, on Mondays. There shall be no minimum delivery required of dollar amount or case quantities. Deliveries must be made in accordance with the included delivery schedule. The intent of this RFP is for normal daytime deliveries on Mondays between 6:30am and 1:30pm. The District currently does not accept night drops. The intention of this RFP is to procure Fresh Bread Products; it is expected of the awarded Proposer to provide bread products that are baked within twenty-four (24) hours prior to delivery. The District will be flexible with changing the delivery day of the week, to ensure the students receive the freshest bread available.
