    Description

As requested by the Road Bridge & Stormwater Maintenance Division (hereinafter, the “Division or Department”), the Collier County Board of County Commissioners Procurement Services Division (hereinafter, “County”) has issued this Invitation to Bid (hereinafter, “ITB”) with the intent of obtaining bid submittals from interested and qualified Bidders in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications stated or attached. The Bidders, at a minimum, must achieve the requirements of the Specifications or Scope of Work stated herein. All references to “Bidder” are also referred to as “Contractor” and “Vendor.”

    Background

The County is responsible for furnishing, installing, and replacing trees and palms in the medians, right-of-way (ROW), and County-owned properties throughout Collier County.  The Collier County Landscape Beautification Master Plan median landscape program has lost approximately 1,000 trees due to Hurricane Irma, Hurricane Ian, and annual wind events. Traffic accidents damage requires the yearly removal of trees and palms. It is vital for our operation to furnish, install, remove, replace and relocate trees and palms annually.
